BIOGRAPHY

Luca Sacher (Trieste, 1993) is a Slovenian - Italian concert pianist.

He graduated cum laude from Tartini Conservatory in Trieste and magna cum laude from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, which he attended on a full scholarship. He later received his Master of Music at Texas Tech University. He furthered his education at Accademia di Pinerolo studying with Roberto Plano. 

He has performed in prestigious halls like Teatro Verdi of Trieste, the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, Seully Hall in Boston and others. He is a prize winner at competitions in Italy, Germany, Spain, USA, Russia, Czechia, Poland. 

He made his solo debut with the orchestra of MusicFest Perugia, playing Beethoven C major concerto under the baton of Uri Segal. He has also performed with the Arlington Symphony, the Garland Symphony, Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra and the Amadeus Adriatic Orchestra. ​

 

His recordings and interviews have been broadcasted on Radio3, Radio FVG and Radio Trst A, as well as Slovenian television. 

 

In February 2023 he released his album Tous les rêves émerveillés dedicated to the music of Debussy. In June 2024 his second album, Brahms at Sundown, came out.  ​

 

Luca has been a piano teacher since 2011. Now based in his native Trieste, Italy, he teaches at his own music studio and at Glasbena Matica Music School.
